While I was backpacking in the Sierra Nevada I realized something was missing: a camera. Within a week I visited my local camera store and bought my first SLR. That was over three decades ago and I have been shooting ever since.
A trip to my local zoo sparked a lifelong fascination with photographing wild cats. When I moved to Arizona I discovered landscape photography, or maybe it discovered me. On my first trip to Europe I fell in love, not with a woman but with the architecture of a continent.
The portfolios on this site represent my photographic interests, acquired through years of travel. My hope is that in viewing these images you receive a small part of the joy I receive in creating them. Thanks for looking.
